For a photographer, Manhattan it is an endless treasure of images in which it is impossible to catch every moment. Immersed in the vortex of possible potential pictures, it is not left other than to surrender to the evidence that will be only possible to capture a very small part of all of them. And being lucky, to feel that one has been able to catch something of its essence.

That is what I will to transmit with the images of this book.

Chaotique, grandiose, multitudinaire, bruyante, étonnante, multiculturelle… Les superlatifs sont faibles quand on parle de New York, “la ville rêvée” pour millions de visteurs.

En tant que photographe, Manhattan est un trésor infini d’images dans lequel il est impossible de capter chaque instant. Enfoui dans le tourbillon de photos potentielles, il ne reste plus qu’à se rendre à l’évidence: on ne pourra capturer qu’une infime partie d’entre elles. Peut-être on aura la sensation d’avoir réussi à attraper un peu de son essence et de son âme.

C’est ce que j’espère transmettre à travers les photos de ce livre.
